Aircraft is a large and complex system, in order to guarantee the safety of flight operations,reliable and punctual operation. The airline requires a lot of manpower and resources to carry out repair and maintenance of the aircraft. The important means of production of aircraft spare parts when aircraft need to be maintain, is an important material for protection the safety of aircraft. It is an important issue to purchase the aviation material which provide the spare parts for the aircraft maintenance timely and effective. However, for historical reasons,China's management of aircraft spare part is often at a higher share capital, turnover is slow,time aircraft on the ground(AOG) orders too more and large plans to the situation. The management of aircraft spare parts which need scientific and effective is critical to airlines.This article introduced the classification of spare parts and the selected aviation material inventory from the different perspective, it also introduced the traditional inventory manage--me methods and storage policies which their impact on aviation material procurement. It not only analyzes the influence of different inventory strategies and purchases time on the aircraft spare part procurement, but also it introduces the life limited spare parts and repairable spare parts of inventory management though reliability analysis. First, it uses the methods of reliability analysis to analyze the demand of aircraft spare part which takes the economy of ratio of spare parts supporting as constraints to solve the number of life limited spare parts.Secondly, it also established the optimal number of procurement and purchasing best turnaround time model which based on the simulation of state of repairable material in full service condition and by computer simulation. Finally, through the use of quasi-renewal process to approximate the repair process is not imperfect repaired spare parts. To repair the economy as the objective function through its optimal value, and ultimately get the optimal number of replacement to get the optimal amount of purchase and the best time to purchase. I hope this can provide some reference value to the airline aviation material inventory management.
