| At present, air traffic congestion has become an outstanding problem for air transportation in China. The boosting aircraft number and uneven air traffic flow distribution expedite the problem in air traffic congestion and flight delay. Therefore, It’s very essential to establish a scientific evaluation methods about airspace operation status and conduct the comparative status assessment in different airspace units. According to mentioned requirement, this paper is to present a scientific measure indicator system designed to evaluate the different status of several airspace units, in terms of research outcome in evaluated indicator categories and traffic flow theories, fully considering many factors like traffic flow and sector characteristics. Then by means of the congestion-traffic efficiency matching method, a status indicator system is been proposed that is suitable for Chinese air traffic operation status assessment. Finally,Fisher criterion is used to make classifications of numerous actual data of evaluation objects to determine the sample data for training SVM, accomplishing a given sample classification assessment. Confirmed by actual data, the proposed method is proved not only to be effectively applied to the units in different operation conditions, but also to the given sample periods. It also provides an effective support for the manages in decision-making.This is the first time to establish the operating status evaluation system for sectors from congestion and traffic efficiency matching level. Through the different airspace units to assess the running status of units to distinguish the poor or well level, it well provides a theoretical basis for the reasonable plan of the airspace sectors, the maximum growth in flight traffic, and the improving airspace efficiency as a whole. What’s more, the example of XiaMen sector demonstrates the feasibility of combining Fisher criterion and SVM classification as an assessment method. |
