General speaking, parametric design is a kind of method to guide design, nonlinear is a unique design thoughts and concept. Design forms are analysised from athletic and mutative perspective in the method of nonlinearly parametric design. The advantages of control, feedback and optimization conclude in the functional thinking is also applied in the design, make the design model more controllable. These designs have a better description in innovative and systematic, they are more suitable for Science and Technology Museum display design.The research focus of this article is the relationship between the nonlinearly parametric design and the Science and Technology Museum display design. The method of literature study, questionnaire method and case study method are adopted to get more acquainted with the basic theory, core technology and working mechanism of the nonlinearly parametric design. On basis of the above research, the development course and formal elements of the nonlinearly parametric design is summarized. Molding method and working mechanism of onlinearly parametric design method are achieved lay the foundation of the science popularization function and display characteristic of Science and Technology Museum. The onlinearly parametric design method is putting into practice successfully. It also provide a new creative design method and technical reference for the Science& Technology Museum display design. Design concept and technological advantages of onlinearly parametric design are fully demonstrated in the project, the design is resounded with regularity and integrity, and the display effect is promoted.
