In this paper, the research on the isolation of the base top and the base of the friction plate and the present situation of the spring are summarized at first. Then the research status of base isolation and base isolation in the basement are discussed. Underground roof isolation and base isolation in the seismic design method are the development of a relatively fast isolation form. They are set in the basement of the base isolation device in the basement and the base of the top. By means of installing the isolation device, the influence of earthquake on the structure of building base isolation layer can be weakened.At present, the friction plate spring isolation system is set in the basement roof and arranged on the top surface of foundation analysis. Seven models of two layers are established. Base isolation of the basement roof and the top of the foundation are let in the models. The effect of two kinds of isolation location on the building's resistance to earthquake force are studied and analyzed. The equation of motion of the friction plate and spring system under earthquake action was established using Lagrange equation. The motion state of the structure under the action of earthquake force is calculated by MATLAB software. Comparison and calculation of the seismic response of the two cases have been selected in order to get the most favorable to the building.Through the analysis and comparison, the following conclusions are obtained: The isolation effect is not big about the base on top of base isolation and the basement roof isolation. The appropriate options for the friction coefficient and damping coefficient of the construction of the base isolation will have a better isolation effect. After the set up of the building, it can reduce the seismic dynamic response of earthquake to building structure system. The displacement of the floor, the floor displacement, the speed of the floor, and the acceleration of the floor are all greatly reduced.
