Scraper conveyor which has been widely used in many industries such as coal mines and mines is the main transporting machinery equipment of bulk material. Scraper conveyor designed by using traditional method is not only inefficient, but also difficult to guarantee the design quality. With the development of mechanical product design technology, modern design methods such as modular design and parametric design make up for the shortcomings of traditional design and effectively improve the efficiency and quality of product design.The module division technology of scraper conveyor is studied. The product component interface is analyzed quantitatively, the correlation matrix of the component interface is established, The diagram of fuzzy connection based on the fuzzy clustering method is generated by the interface correlation matrix, and the fuzzy cut set theory is used to divide the connection diagram, which illustrates the process of dividing modules for product, finally the “F” statistic is used to test and get the optimal scheme of product module division.The system platform for 3D parametric design of scraper conveyor is developed.The design of the scraper conveyor can be quickly realized by designer inputting the original design parameters. In the VC++2010 programming environment, the application program is written by using the TOOLKIT development kit of Creo2.0 to realize the lectotype design calculation and non-standard components design calculation, generate3 D parametric models of the components, and then generate 2D engineering drawings of the models.The automatic assembly technology is researched to realize the entire machine design. By using the notepad function module of Creo software, the 2D layout design of scraper conveyor is designed, the global references and parameters of assembly are defined, the assembly skeleton model is built, and in the layout statement the assembly relations are defined by the form of equality, the automatic assembly for the entire machine is realized and the 3D parametric model of scraper convey is completed.The construction of system platform for 3D parametric design of scraper conveyor shortens design cycle, improves quality and has a guiding role for the same type of mechanical products to make parametric design.
