January 2015, China's total wind power installed capacity reached 114.7 million KW. the total installed capacity of wind power has been the first.Chinese electricity consumption is mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal,But peaking power transmission, power grids, and many other geographical constraints, "Three North" appeared abandoned wind power into the grid, Data show that China's restrictions on wind electricity into the grid has the world's highest.One side is a large area of "green energy" been wasted, the other side is an increasingly serious environmental pollution and energy crisis, excessive consumption of coal, oil and other fossil fuels.To solve the above problems,make the wind power output stable and controllable is important.To make each wind turbine become a separate dispatch unit, reducing the power system spinning reserve capacity, for every wind turbine equipped with an energy storage device is an effective method, In order to maintain the wind turbine stability of output, the key is configure the storage capacity.In the traditional research, prefer a wind turbines for the object to take a mathematical model to analyze the storage capacity and the value calculated by the average level of the audience as a representative.In the above assumptions, we thought that all the values of wind speed and power-output of the wind farm were the same, irrespective of the terrain, wake, and other factors impact.Therefore, the storage capacity is calculated by a mathematical model is different from the actual, may cause storage capacity excessive or costly.Currently, large-capacity storage technology has broken the bottleneck, but costs still high, research with minimal storage capacity to stabilize the output will be meaningful.In order to solve these problems, This paper presents a solution “ Large wind Farm energy storage capacity optimization calculation based on CFD Technology” CFD(computational fluid dynamics technology) as a branch, to calculation of the minimum storage capacity of wind farm provide a solution.Based on the renault similarity theory, the use of computer technology and WT software to simulate the actual situation of the wind farm, build computational model, using computational fluid mechanical method to calculate the minimum storage capacity problems.Given the terrain, vegetation, air pressure, air density, power curve, and wind data, by computing the area of wind resources, access to the flow of air in different directions acceleration factors and other parameters of the standard deviation of the wind resource map.By analyzing the results of CFD calculation, to obtain a more accurate wind resource distribution, combined with the wind turbine's power curve, and obtain every wind turbine's wind speed?power output?power output expectation value E and so on, according to the reservoir energy capacity S =PnEH calculated for every wind turbine optimal capacity storage.The result of the energy storage capacity closer to the real situation, can provide decision-making as the wind farm energy storage investment, development and design.
