Research On Decorative Art Of Traditional Residence In North Of Jiangsu Province

Traditional local-style dwelling building and decoration reflect the regional characteristics of a region. to a certain extent,traditional dwellings decoration is a book of history.It records the history,economic,customs,religion,production method and so on of this region.Therefore,the legacy of traditional local-style dwelling houses building in each area of our country is precious cultural treasure,It has important historical significance and artistic value for the research of Chinese traditional dwellings decoration culture.Traditional local-style dwelling houses in north of Jiangsu province is an important part of Chinese traditional dwellings decoration culture,it has certain value and significance to research the history and culture of the north of Jiangsu province.This paper based on the general situation of the history,geography,climate and economic situation of the north of Jiangsu province as basic of conditions to introduced and analyzed.Due to the research on the existing relatively intact of the traditional residential buildings in north of Jiangsu province,study from the whole composition,building construction,decorative material,decorative theme,architectural element and so on,discussed and summarized the traditional local-style dwelling houses of the regional characteristics and cultural connotation in north of Jiangsu province and compared with some areas of decorative features surrounding.Finally,the paper based on the contemporary residential decoration,put forward some opinions and suggestions to the protection and inheritance of the traditional dwellings decoration culture and application in contemporary household adornment.
