Impedance is one of the Characterization of physical quantities of the material, which can reflect the intrinsic properties of the material by measuring the impedance.Effect of temperature on the impedance in research and applications of new materials plays a very crucial role. In this paper, the impedance is affected by temperature, we propose a efficient and convenient temperature measurement system to impedance.This topic is to develop a set of simple and easy test system to measuring the Impedance temperature characteristic. Test system consists of a computer terminal, Thermostat,the Agilent 4294 A impedance analyzer and other modules, the entire system is based on the VC ++ 6.0 platform. In these modules, the computer terminal module is the core of the whole test system, The computer use RS-485 communicating with Thermostat and use network communication with Agilent 4294 A impedance analyzer. The system can be used to measure the Impedance-temperature of the PTCR sample and Lead-free ceramic sample. Wherein PTCR test sample, the test temperature range from 40℃to 320℃, the test frequency range from 1KHz to 10MHz; Lead-free ceramic in the test sample, the test temperature range from 40 ℃ to 300 ℃, the test frequency range from 150 KHz to 350 KHz. After the test is completed, saving the test data to Excel, and then importing into Origin for analysis by impedance change in temperature trends.Functional test results show that the function of the software has achieve the desired target.At the same time by comparing the results of the test materials, we have a more intuitive understanding of the importance of the Impedance-Temperature test for the materials research.
