With the rapid development of China’s urbanization, Environmental problem of urban development is increasingly becoming an important issue, hampering the sustainable development of the cities. Noise has become one of the city’s four major environmental issues of pollution. At home and abroad, noise prediction, noise control and protection have already been extensively studied. There have been several achievements in the origin, communication, control and reduction of the noise. However, researches on urban sound environment from the direction of urban spatial morphology and the urban planning perspective are relatively less. Currently, existing studies have proved the contacts between urban sound environment and urban spatial morphology. This paper bases on the spatial data of field research in the urban center, trying to explore the distribution of city sound environment at different spatial form layout mode from the shape study of urban space, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the different modes.During the study, the paper started from the relationship between space form and noisy environment of the city center, generalized the space form factors of city blocks as building density, neighborhoods enclosure, building scale and other quantifiable indicators, and analyzed the correlation between space element indicators and block noise with the abstract model. The paper used Nanjing Xinjiekou center as the research coverage, combined study needs with designing the measurement program, conducted field measurements on the block noise of the central area, generated noise map of the city center based on measured data integrated with software simulation, and initially analyze the temporal distribution of the noise in central area based on the sound environment data of practically simulation. The paper summed up the street space as ’no enclosed volume substantially’,’semi-enclosed scatter point’,’high enclosure surrounding the formula’ and other spatial patterns by analyzing of neighborhood spatial form. Thus, the paper analyzed the impacts of block space texture, architecture combination form, space layout and other spatial patterns on external space sound environment with sound environment data of an actual street as well as analyzing advantages and disadvantages of different form modes for optimizing the neighborhood sound environment. Finally, the paper proposed sound environment optimization strategy for different urban environment in terms of urban planning, architectural design and landscape design based on the actual effect of the spatial form of the sound environment.This study attempted to analyze the urban sound environment from the perspective of the city space form, providing the basic technical methods and analysis of ideas. By combining the urban sound environment with the urban planning and design, the paper proposed regulatory strategy of urban sound environment based on urban planning discipline. |
