Study On The Distribution Characteristics And Optimization Of Recreation Space In The Central Urban Area Of Luoyang

With the enhancement of health awareness,people’s time and expenditure for leisure and entertainment are increasing,and the demand for recreation is becoming stronger and stronger.Recreational space carries the recreational function of the city.It is not only an important place for residents to carry out leisure activities,but also an important carrier to meet their spiritual and cultural needs.Therefore,the rational layout of recreational space will help to optimize the urban function,enhance vitality and improve people’s happiness.Taking the recreation space in the central urban area of Luoyang(old urban area,Jianxi District,Xigong District,Fuhe Hui District and Luolong District)as the object,this paper studies the distribution characteristics of recreation space with the help of Arc GIS software and the research methods of kernel density,nearest neighbor index and service radius;The behavioral characteristics of recreational people were analyzed by questionnaire.Combined with the distribution characteristics of recreation space and the behavior characteristics of recreation people,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The study found that the recreational space in the central urban area of Luoyang has a large number and rich types,showing the characteristics of centralized distribution.The calculation results of the nearest neighbor index show that the recreational space is of aggregation type;The analysis of nuclear density shows that the recreational space is mostly concentrated in the central part of the urban area,forming three grade I nuclear density areas;The analysis of service radius shows that the number of recreational spaces distributed in the West and southeast of the urban area is small,and there is a certain service gap.Overall,it presents the spatial structure of "cluster scattered point belt".(2)The questionnaire survey of recreational people in the central urban area shows that the activity intention of most recreational people is affected by distance,personal interest and traffic conditions;The main purpose of recreational activities is leisure and relaxation;The choice of travel mode and the length of stay are affected by distance and economic level;Satisfied with the existing recreational space in the urban area.At the same time,it is also found that some recreational spaces are too far away from residential areas,and the management and maintenance are not in place.(3)Combined with the distribution characteristics of recreational space and the behavior characteristics of recreational people,this paper puts forward the driving effect of strengthening the recreational function of business district;Increase the number of recreation spaces in the suburbs and outer ring of the urban area;Optimize the allocation of resources and improve the recreational space network system;Establish a perfect management mechanism and strengthen the optimization strategy of parallel management and construction.
