At present, the development of civil aviation is becoming more and more fast, but the SAR(search and rescue) benchmark determine method is conservative. In order to succesfully search the crashed aircraft, the search area will be designated relatively large. In order to rescue the crashed plane, each country has to invest huge manpower and material resources. Thus, optimization method for determining the basis of SAR and increasing the correlation of search area and the plane crashed site, is the key to reduce the area of SAR and to save the cost.Based on the research of domestic and foreign aviation SAR standards, the process of SAR, and the related prediction methods, for the current situation that SAR decision depends on the heuristic reasoning of human experts, oriented object language C# and 3D GIS platform is used as the development language and front-end development platform, mysql is used to build knowledge base module, the expert system for SAR area production is developed. The condition of the plane crash is divided into aircraft crash in the surveillanced area and in the no surveillanced area two types in this expert system. First, for the case of aircraft specific crash in the no surveillanced area, the aircraft specific crash site is not sure, according to the input information, the knowledge base and the inference engine of this system is used to predict possible roads, possible roads and search area is simulated on the interface. It is proved that in the case of a large margin of decline and no surveillance information two symptoms occurre, possible roads of the crash aircraft could be predicted in this system. It is verified that the of possible roads and saerch area could be predicted in this expert system.Secondly, for the case of aircraft specific crash in the surveillanced area, the aircraft specific crash site is certain, the plane crash trajectory and the position of the aircraft landing point were studied in the case of the aircraft lost power after the accident, and, the effect of wind is considered. First, the difference between the moment of accident and the moment pilot make the corresponding operation is considered. Before the aircraft is operated by the pilot, the falling process of the aircraft is analyzed based on the model of oblique projectile. After the pilot operated on the aircraft, the crash process of the aircraft was analyzed based on the model of the no power gliding movement. Finally, the plane crash trajectory and the aircraft landing point's longitude and latitude are predicted in MATLAB software, the plane crash trajectory, the aircraft landing point and the saerch area is simulated on the expert system.
