| In engineering projects, complex architectural function often results in irregular plane structures, and the relevant resolvent is presented in the current norms for various types of irregular plane structures. For structure characterized by floor partial discontinuity, there are always two kinds of measures:(1) adding extra beam and slab near the hole in order to ensure the effective slab width;(2)enclosing the shear wall around the hole to improve the globality and transmission capacity of horizontal forces. Otherwise, either option has its pros and cons, which are controversial. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research and analysis of their impact on the seismic behavior of structures, local internal forces, and improvement of the seismic behavior of structures. This paper establishes five types of numerical models using ETABS and SAP2000, including model with floor partial opening, model without floor opening, model with extra beam and slab near the hole on each floor, model with model with extra beam and slab near the hole on every two floor, and enclosed shear wall around the hole. Through response spectrum analysis and nonlinear static analysis, the influence of floor partial discontinuity on seismic behavior of structures and local internal force is investigated, and the improvement of two kinds of measures is compared. The results show that: for high-buildings with well-distributed vertical structural member, the influence of floor partial discontinuity on global seismic performance index, including period, modal shape, story shear force, displacement angle, is not obvious, but it leads to increasing internal forces of the frame beams and columns near the floor openings, increasing stresses at the connection floor, while decreasing the lateral rigidity of frame-shear structure under severe earthquake. Compared with regular plane structure, the difference of higher modal period and modal participating mass ratios, internal forcer of the frame columns near the hole, and stresses at the connection floor for high-building characterized by floor partial discontinuity between elastic floor assumption and rigid floor assumption is more obvious. Both of the two kinds of measures improve the seismic performance(including the index mentioned above) of structure characterized by floor partial discontinuity, and the one enclosing the shear wall around the hole is better. |
