Masonry structure is one of the main and popular buildings in the village structures.Owing to its poor seismic performance, masonry buildings are destroyed seriously in the earthquake. Because of the high cost, long construction period and complex technology,cast-in-situ constructional columns and ring beams which are good seismic construction measures are difficult to implement in villages constructions. In order to solve those problems, the prefabricated structural columns and ring beams, which are economical,practical and convenient arise at the historic moment.The work about prefabricated structural columns and ring beams are as follows:1)Using the finite element software ADINA to build the wall with prefabricated structural columns and ring beams. Compare test results with the finite element analysis results verifies the reliability of finite element analysis method.2)The paper established nine finite element models in all, including the wall with prefabricated structural columns and ring beams, the wall with cast-in-situ structural columns and ring beams, the plain wall and the wall with windows and doors are reinforced by the corresponding constraint form.After research and analysis, the main conclusions are as follows:1)To analyze the masonry structures with the software ADINA is a reliable research method. The seismic performance of the wall with a hole is weaken that bearing capacity is decreased by about 10% and the limit displacement is decreased by about 30%.2)The seismic performance of prefabricated structural columns and ring beams reinforced wall is similar to cast-in-situ structural columns and ring beams reinforced wall. The bearing capacity of the former is fell by 20% and limit displacement is reduced by 20%~30%, but the both reinforcement walls are significantly better than the plain wall.Above all, prefabricated columns and ring beams, which have low cost, convenient construction, good quality are very suitable for applying in rural construction.
