In the automobile manufacturing industry, due to the increasing needs of the market, more companies choose to increase productivity. And in addition to the investment in new plant, reforming equipment and etc, the most direct and effective way to increase capacity is to improve the production process in the workshop, thus to increase productivity and reduce costs. However, large-scale production capacity requires high levels of management, improvement of the automation rate can effectively enhance the management level.This paper researches on production management and production processes in the Beijing Benz paint shop using management science methods find problems and then work out solutions. Major issues are monitored by the means of extensive data collection at earlier stage and technical means of IT systems, this article determined to solve the waste of beat and materials inside the painting robots which is caused by excessive replacing frequency. It also determined to analyze the choke points in the buffer area of the workshop and the connection area between technology lines, to ensure the continuity and stability of the number of products produced. This paper finds a scheme which decomposes the working content using WBS, seeking the feasibility of solutions between the various process requirements and line balance, and ultimately determines the color packet program to perform the IT order queue to reach a reasonable sequence of body flow before entering the spray booth, and reducing the losses from color change. While the number of cars being processed in the cache region can be monitored by IT tools, to find a reasonable arrangement method.Eventually, through the implementation of the program achieved the desired purpose, for results of data collection and analysis, improvement of the time and cost effects are practically realized. After the study of this paper, there is still a large space for the continuous improvement of production process, the corporation management of the production department and quality department is helpful to achieve leaner production management.
