A Study On The Design Of Community Health Center (CHC) In The Center City Under The Background Of Aging

the demand for medical and hygiene, with the cognitive and acceptance of scientific concepts on health by the general public, has been turning from the treatment of diseases to self-health maintenance and disease prevention. with our aging society deepening and the average life expectancy increasing in recent years, situations like the trend of aged people becoming more aging and chronic diseases in the elderly population increasing are more and more. In this context, the importance of Community Health Services(CHS) for diseases prevention, health care, health education and basic medical services are increasingly prominent. And with the deepening of the medical and health system reform, the construction of Community Health Center(CHC) has received unprecedented attention and development. Study on architectural design of the CHC is of great significance in the construction and improvement of the CHS system, along with the promotion of better medical and public health services,by doing which the CHC plays the role of "health gatekeeper" for people.Taking the CHC in city center as the research object, the paper interpretated the health system reform and analyzed the policy on construction of CHC,based on in-depth study and understanding of the CHS development process and the present stage of social aging. Based on a large number of visits research and documentation collate, the paper analyzed the development in needs for CHC of the elder population, and summarized the architectural problems of the CHC under the background of aging. And then summed up the design strategy of CHC in planning and site selection, function configuration and the architectural environment.The structure of this paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter made statements of the research background, object and basic concepts, current situation, purpose, significance and research methods. The second chapter made analysis of the general situation of CHC development both at home and abroad, and do the relevant policies and standards of CHC in China. The third chapter firstly analyzed the demand characteristics of the elderly, with the background of aging; then Analyses the present situation and problems in construction of the CHC on the basis of research on the CHC in Xicheng district of Beijing; lastly summarized the development in needs for CHC of the elder population, according to the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly. The fourth chapter, on the basis of the former study, summarized the design strategy of CHC building in site selection and layout, optimization of medical treatment process, elderly related functions configuration and interior and exterior space environment. The last chapter analyzed an actual case of CHC and made a renovation design to it, basing on former research results.
