Pressure Gauge Spiral Spring Tube's Shaping Research And The Equipment's Design

Spiral is a structure that has been widely applied. In oil pressure measurement industry, spiral spring tube is the core part of oil pressure guage whose measuring range is above 20 MPa. When pressure appearing in the tube, the free port moves along the direction that is vertical with the axis of spiral, and drives the connecting rod-gear mechanism. The precision of spring tube is important to the measurement accuracy. Traditional shaping method is hard to solve the problem that the fixed port is not parallel to free port.In this paper, new spiral shaping method was proposed based on standard spiral formula, and the equipment and control system were designed, which had been applied to produce spring tube, and good shaping quality was obtained.Two methods has been applied to calculate and analysis in this paper. Firstly, spiral line is replaced by discrete circular cones and the relation among spiral angle, round-shaping angle and pitch angle is deduced. Secondly, matrix transform method is applied also, and the same result is obtained. Numerical analysis and error analysis based on the formula deduced above are performed, which has beneficial effect on engineering design and debug.Later, the rebound phonomeon in the course of working has been researched by experiment, and the rebound data is analysised. The whole mechanical system, involving feeding mechanism, round-shaping mechanism and bending mechanism, was designed and the principle of each part was explained. The control system based on PLC was designed, and the control principle, flow chart and main electrical parts were listed.The producing result shows that the equipment based on shaping method of the spiral spring tube is up to the requirement and high accuracy and rate of finished products are obtained.
