As the economy of China develops so rapidly, civil aviation industry has also entered a prosperous and stable state, the situation behind the huge potential attracts a lot of attention, and the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Compared to the influence of airline fuel costs, labor costs is the second largest factor, more and more attention is attracted. Scientific scheduling, rational management, cost savings, customer first, is an integral part of airlines to be invincible magic.In this paper, the key question is crew scheduling of airline flight schedules. This paper introduces the research background and basic framework, as well as closely related with this flight plan, fleet maintenance, aircraft operational flight plan and flight scheduling, illustrates the principles of civil aviation and workflow, lists the models based on the minimum cost, the duty shortest time, and maximum utilization, and gives the the rules and constraints of scheduling process to comply with, and establish a crew scheduling mathematical model in accordance with these rules and constraints. To solve the problem of crew scheduling in this article, in the characteristic of the various algorithms, principles, applicability for analysis, we choose the model of the genetic algorithm to solve the crew scheduling problem in this paper, and the application of genetic algorithm is proposed to improve and optimization.Finally we select an airline simulation data to achieve a air crew scheduling based on genetic algorithm to solve the model to obtain a relatively satisfactory simulation results prov e the validity of research methods.
