Avionics system is an important part of the aircraft, its technology level is a key factor in determining the merits of the aircraft. To reduce the risk of avionics system development costs and shorten the development cycle, it is necessary to conduct a variety of simulation and integration verification in the new avionics system development process. The semi-physical simulation is an important branch of science and technology system simulation, and it is the earliest and most successful applications in engineering of system simulation technology. Since it has a high level of convenience in the authenticity and real-time simulation, it is widely used in many domains. In these applications, the semi-physical simulation for avionics system is an important application branch.Firstly, the development overview of the semi-physical simulation of avionics system from domestic and foreign is analyzed. It is proposed that it is necessary to study semi-physical simulation of avionics system. And the semi-physical simulation technology and the design for testability are studied.Secondly, the overall design of semi-physical simulation of avionics system is proposed. The system functions and system model is analyzed. The avionics system design documents is studied, e.g. Interface Control Document and detailed design requirements. According to the design requirement of hardware, hardware design is completed. The design requirement of software and data cross-linking relations is studied, The software is designed to the master software and the avionics components emulator software. Data transmission uses UDP network communication protocol. And a complete and user-friendly simulation platform with testability is achieved in VC + + environment.Finally, the entire system is tested in the laboratory and by user. The result shows that the developed semi-physical simulation system meets the design requirements in the functionality and performance. The successful development of the designed avionics simulation system will lay a certain foundation for large aircraft avionics system design for our country.
