Plan And Design Study Of Children’s Outdoor Playground In Modern City

China’s existing children number is around 3.6 billion, which accounting for the total number of children in the world 1/6. In city, streets, squares, parks and other open space are the playground space which children often visit and prefer, building the incentive and high-quality children’s outdoor playground is conducive to children’s healthy growth. At present, the children’s outdoor venues construction quantity in our countries is small, the quality is not high, there is a tendency of simple and modeling. At the same time, children’s outdoor playground design details are often ignored, which is not from the aspects of children’s ability development to create children’s outdoor playground, therefore, leaving a lot of regrets. Children’s outdoor playground can provide a recreation space which can communicate with natural environment and peer friends, which is the place used with highest frequency by urban children, can exercise the children’s physique, improve children’s interest in the game, relieve children’s mental pressure, and has the vital significance to raise the children’s creative ability, communication ability and comprehensive ability. This paper refers a lot of domestic and foreign related practices and children’s psychology theory, and discusses the main points demand of physiological, psychological and children’s behavioral characteristics. Analyzing the construction and research situation of China’s modern urban children’s outdoor playground, selecting three typical urban children outdoor playground(children’s park, children’s activity area in comprehensive park and children’s outdoor activity place in residential district) to conduct field research, deep into the research on the construction situation and existing problems, putting forward the development strategies of constructing and improving the children’s outdoor playground.Furthermore, this paper combines regional cultural heritage, zone climate impact, humanized space construction theory, discussing the design points and constructing methods of urban children’s outdoor playground from the location and scale requests, site plan and design, landscape design, and park facilities. To explore the design theory of urban children’s outdoor playground with regional characteristics and humanistic concern. Finally, through the design of Jieyang children’s Park, the general design points of children’s outdoor playground in this paper are applied and demonstrated.The innovation points of this paper: this paper sums up the general design points of children’s outdoor playground through studying the domestic and foreign urban children’s outdoor playground plan and design methods,, and putting forward the humanization and innovative design methods, providing design method references for planning and construction high quality urban children’s outdoor playground in modern city.
