Investigation And Analysis Of Street Trees In Yuexiu District Of Guangzhou City

Yuexiu District is the econom ic, political and cultural center of Guangzhou City, brought together a large num ber of people, traffic. Doing a good job in the application of Yuexiu District street trees play s an important role in building livable garden city, improving the city's ecological environment, beautifing the appearance of the city, shaping the landscape and increasing the image of the city. The purpose of the paper is to find the problems of street trees application in Yuexiu District, to provide detailed reference information and advice in improving the road greening planning, construction and management.This paper uses the m ethod of literature research, field surv ey method to survey the tree species genera overall condition, structure condition, tree grow th status, health status, phenological change situation and the status of the comm unity structure,analyses the data,and uses the tools to evaluate of tree species divers ity and ecological benefit. Scope of this article research object is the yuexiu district street trees species, including 17 major roads, 22 collector streets, 20 spur track, the total length of a total of 63753.8 m. Street trees in Yuexiu Distric urban roads total 109.Foliage pants dom inated,relat Thevly few viewing,view of fruit plants. results of the survey in the street trees in Yuexiu Di strict as follo ws:(1) In term s of tree species selection,most of the tree spec ies meets the demand of Guangzhou local customs and culture. Most of the tree species in the m ain road grow healthy. The trees play an important role in improving the environm ent of Yuexiu Distri ct,purifying the air, improving the urban ecological benefits,and em body the Guangzhou ev ergreen road landscape features.(2) The diversity of stree trees is not ideal. The trees species in Yuexiu District are less.The landscape effect is relatively m onotonous. The structure of plant communities is given prio rity to arbor nmonolayer-community pattern. There is a few r elatively infrequent of multilayer-community pattern as “trees-shrubs”. Thr ough the pantingh of trees along the Yuexiu Distric, provides scientific basis and reference for street trees mnagement maintenance advice.
