Drinking water safety is important to people's lives and social development. But the safety of rural drinking water is still a problem, there are still 300 million people(80% of the Midwest) drinking water does not meet safety standards. These problems are difficult to solve, partly because of the water source quality and low management level; on the other hand it is hard to promotion the scientific research achievements in rural market.The theme of paper is the patent transformation of the device based on down-flow spiral inclined plate sedimentation technology. Paper is divided into the following areas: data collection, market research, device upgrade, Yushu display project. The core parts are: market research, device upgrade and Yushu display project.First part of the paper is the investigation of western mountainous rural areas. The investigation selected 22 villages around Sichuan. Most of the villages have convenient traffic. results of investigation provide reliable information for patent transformation, which increasing the possibility of production. Analysis of research data also gives the direction of the optimization of the device, which makes the final device meet the needs of practical applications.The next part is the improved of the device. The device has been improved according to survey results before production. These upgrades increase the device operational stability and ease of management. Structural improvements of the device include the supported leg, reinforcement ring, annular groove, the top of the reaction barrel, water level sensors, the angle of the cone bucket and so on. Process Improvement contains the optimization of the flocculation process and filter process. In this part, the paper proposes a method to build carbon- sand filter bed. At the same time it also put forward a set of water supply plan includes automatic control system, online monitoring system and the chlorine disinfection system. Then formed product “design and calculation instructions”, "equipment installation specifications," "equipment operation specifications," "production process equipment specifications," the technical documentation. "quality control", "equipment installation specifications," "equipment operation specifications," "production process equipment specifications".The last part of the paper is Yushu display project. There are three kinds of functions under the display project?Displaying works both actual water supply, post-test and display equipment to promote demand. According to this demand, the exhibition design is divided into functional areas and test areas. After the exhibition area construction is completed, the commissioning of the stereotypes after CPLX10-240-A-type devices, and turbidity, CODMn, ammonia, UV254 removal performance?In high turbidity test, when the raw water is turbidity 1058 NTU average, the average effluent turbidity is 0.683 NTU, turbidity removal efficiency more than 99%. During the test of the project, the original water turbidity, CODMn, ammonia is 68.52 NTU, 4.08 mg / L and 0.34 mg / L respectively, the effluent was 0.241 NTU, 1.82 mg / L, 0.28 mg / L.
