Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, the civil aviation industry has a rapid development and airport has become an integral part facility of passenger travel and cargo transport. With the rising of the airport throughput, in the case of flight peak or inclement weather, it often leads to traffic jams and flight delays for a long time. Especially for those aircrafts who have been in the taxiway after pushback, with the operation of the APU(auxiliary power unit), aviation oil will be consumed in a high speed. For these reasons, the flight delays governance has become an effective mean to improve the competitiveness of air transport enterprises. This paper establishes the aircraft departures ground waiting tandem queuing traffic model with taxiway and runway system as subsystems based on the idea of Operations Research Queuing Theory. And it completes the model assumptions, model building, and smooth analysis work and so on. Then it puts the goodness of fit test for Poisson distribution that points to The Capital International Airport actual flight departure data. That examination results are input to model to simulate and the simulated results are consistent with the actual departure process. Finally, the paper uses the number of flights during peak hours in batches postponed to improved algorithm by analyzing the departures data. It can improve taxiway and runway utilization to reduce the waiting time and residence time. The simulated results of model which have been improved show that the improved algorithm is effective and it provides a valid reference value to solving airport ground traffic congestion problems.
