| As its good self priming capability and suitable for conveying high viscosity and corrosive liquids, reciprocating pump are applied to many special occasions. Meanwhile,reciprocating pump will not affect de-icing fluid’s physical and chemical properties. Therefore it is used in the heating system of de-icing fluid. However, the working principle of reciprocating pump decided its main drawback- obvious flow pulsation. Flow pulsations can cause pressure pulsation. Especially when the varying frequency of discharge pressure is equal to the natural frequency of pip system, or have an integer time relationship, resonance will occur. This will reduce the service life of system. At the same time, flow pulsation will increase the difficulty of temperature control of de-icing fluid.Reciprocating pump, as the research object, its flow pulsation characteristics in a simple piping system is studied. In order to reduce flow pulsation, a method combing theoretical analysis, AMESim software system simulation and experimental study are used. Especially study flow pulsation suspension effect of reducing stroke rate and accumulator pre-charge pressure. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1. An improved double-acting reciprocating pump flow theoretical model is established.By kinematic analysis, get the motion law of piston, and also the ideal flow equation. Improve the accuracy of flow calculation model by taking into account the distribution of valve’s Westphal phenomenon and orifice flow impact on the pump flow.2. Conduct the flow pulsation characteristics simulation of reciprocating pump system by AMESim. Meanwhile, study the flow pulsation suspension effect of decreasing stroke rate,installing accumulator, increasing the length of the link, phase dispersion, and optimiZing ball’s mass.3. A reciprocating pump flow pulsation experiment platform is builded to perform experimental verification. The tests includ: the flow data after decreasing the stroke rate, the flow data without installing an accumulator and after install an accumulator, and also the flow data under different accumulator pre-charge pressure. Finally, followed with data analysis and competition, research results were put forward. |
