With the rapid development of the national economy and advancement of Science and Technology, the proportion of air transportation in the system of integrated transportation becomes bigger and bigger. The existing airspace resources can not meet the demand of the growing air traffic flow. In order to improve airspace capacity and efficiency, Air highway theory is proposed.Air highway system relies on the development of aviation electronics industry. The system based on new communications, navigation, surveillance techniques. Air highway is an independent, one-way, without intersection, high-speed and convenient route which is provided for long-distance, high-performance aircrafts. This thesis based on the characteristics of air highway and airspace, three aspects of air highway are researched: the configuration of air highway route network, the slot allocation problem of air highway ramp, the choice between air highway route and conventional route. The research provided references for operation of the aerial highway system. The main work of the thesis is as follows:1?The design of air highway route network: In the design, first class one and class two hub airports and seven border points are selected as the hub nodes in the backbone route network. After the hub node is selected, route network is adjusted with border points, utilization of routes, collinear route and the setting of route way point. Last the influences of prohibited areas are considered. The predicted civil aviation data is introduced to get the network of China. At last the transition route between air highway and conventional route is raised.2?The research on slot allocation problem of air highway ramp: According to the characteristics of air highway to proposes the slot allocation model of air highway ramp. And consider the cause of delays of aircrafts,a improved slot allocation model is also set up. And the solutions of the models are designed. And the single-route model is extended to the parallel route. Finally, an emulation by MATLAB is gave out, the feature of two models are analyzed.3 ? The research on choice between air highway route and conventional route: comprehensively considerate relationship between delay cost and operation cost, a mathematical model of the choice between different kind of air route based on the minimum cost is set up,and the appropriate solution is described. Finally a simulation by MATLAB shows the cost comparison between using choice model and not using, the simulation results showed that the model and solution are effective.This thesis improves the theoretical system of air highway, and provides a reference for the effective operation of the practice of air highway.
