Comprehensive Evaluation Research On CRM Training Effectiveness

Many accidents show that the main reasons of the commercial plane crash are cockpit disorder and lack of corrective decision-making by leadership. Crew numbers are crucial part of accidents prevention; therefore airlines should carry out the CRM training project, and evaluate CRM training effectiveness. Crew resource management(CRM) training is the effective way to improve the performance of flight crews and to ensure flight safety.The paper based on Kirkpatrick training assessment model, and combined with related papers, regulations, syllabi of CRM training and advice from airlines training department to come up with evaluation model of CRM training effectiveness. Research defined the influence sequence of the evaluation indices based on Analytic Network Process(ANP)method; then used gray system evaluation method to assess the CRM training effectiveness.An application example of airlines was given, meanwhile the research suggested some advice to enhance airlines CRM training.Meanwhile, the questionnaire about the factors and indices of CRM training effectiveness was designed. After testing exploratory factor analysis to questionnaire, paper generated five factors which have relationship with each other. This paper used SEM to construct theory model of CRM training effectiveness, then utilized AMOS software to analyze the causal relationship between factors and indices. The result could provide the theory reference for airlines CRM training effectiveness in future.
