Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(HXMT)uses imaging method, which was researched independently by Chinese scholars,to achieves the broad band x-ray sky survey, the detection of supermassive black holes and other high energy astrophysics.HXMT is of epoch-making significance to China's astronomical research.HXMT will have different thermal deformation, because of its complicated structure, and it will be affected by many factors in the space environment in orbit operation. The deformation will lead to the deviation of the direction of the detectors, and affects the accuracy of the data acquisition. This paper mainly studies thermal deformation of the whole structure of HXMT under different conditions, with theoretical analysis, finite element calculation and experimental analysis.HXMT's overall structure is large and complicated. In order to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the thermal analysis model,Firstly, firstly how to establish simplified and efficient finite element analysis model was discussed and researched to determine the reasonable modeling programs. On this basis,we use 3D software to simplified parts, use HyperMesh software to mesh.HXMT's different monomer models are established respectively, finally assemble the model by using the large finite element software ABAQUS,and assigns the material properties and contact relations. The temperature field and thermal deformation of HXMT under different working conditions were calculated by introducing the temperature measured point in the Thermal balance test. The thermal deformation of the telescope was studied and analyzed based on the experimental data. The thermal deformation of HXMT is mainly low temperature shrinkage, which is manifested by the contraction and deformation around the center. The angular deviation of each detector is caused by the contraction around the structure. In the six operating conditions, the maximum angle deviation of LE is between 7.6' to 3.7'.The maximum angle deviation of ME is between 5.8' to 3.1'.The maximum angle deviation of HE is between 5.5' to 3.2'.Their deviation of the angle changes from the 1 to 6 operating conditions.Comparing the finite element calculation and thermal balance test results, their thermal deformation trends are consistent. The little error is between 0.3 ' to 1.8'.The results in this study have a certain reference value, which can provide some theoretical basis for the analysis of the telescope's later adjustment and some help in analysis of the observation data.
