Vibration and noise have become two of the most important performance indexes of a washing machine.Strong vibrations often occur in the spin drying process,serious vibrations will lead washing machines to walk even hit the cabinet.This paper takes a vertical axis washing machine as the research object to solve the problems of the hit cabinet during the spin drying process.This paper analyzed the structure of the vertical axis washing machine. Cabinet and suspension system are two main components and also the important component of the dynamics system of a vertical axis washing machine. The cabinet is the base framework bearing the suspension system whose dynamic performance directly affects the whole performance of the washing machine.This paper combined the finite element simulation and experimental test to study the modal analysis of the cabinet and determines the possibility of hitting cabinet by comparing the body modal frequency with washing machine dehydration frequency.The suspension system shows great influences on vibrations of the spin drying process.This paper tried to optimize suspension system dynamic parameters to solve the hit box of problems.First of all this paper developed mathematical models of the suspension system under the condition of fixed mass and small displacement using Lagrange equation and verifies the reliability of the mathematical model through the finite element simulation and experiment.Then a new mathematical models of the suspension system was developed under the condition of variable mass and large displacement.This paper applies Runge-Kutta method to solve the response of the system.Using the Isight experiment design module analysis of mathematical model and selecting appropriate optimization parameter.Then using experimental design and multi-objective optimization combination strategy to select more effective parameters combination.By comparing the analysis results before and after optimization, in the vibration of the optimized washing machine has been effectively improved and the problem of hit cabinet is solved.At last,the paper sums up washing machine vibration suppression structure parameters optimization process.
