The Electrically Controlled Rotor(ECR) is a new type of rotor system, which uses aerodynamic force generated by flap deflection make the blade pitch via aeroelastic effect to fulfill rotor control function. Compared to the conventional rotor, ECR has a natural advantage in active vibration control due to the restriction of swashplateless, and it is also necessary. In this paper, study on active vibration control method and experimental for vibration characteristics of ECR are carried out. The works of this paper are as follows:?The advantages and disadvantages of the active vibration control method of ECR are analyzed. According to the existing problems of the active vibration control method of ECR, two kinds of active control methods are proposed, which is based on individual blade control Broyden control algorithm and the improved Broyden control algorithm.?Using the ECR aeroelastic dynamic analysis code, the ECR flap 2/rev control amplitude and phase sweep are studied to find the control law of between flap 2/rev control amplitude and phase and the hub 2/rev vibration. Due to the ECR blade dissimilar of the torsional stiffness of blade root, the mass and aerodynamic, it causes heavy 1/rev vibration. As for this problem, the control effect of the follow method is studied via ECR aeroelastic dynamic analysis code in the paper.?In the ECR comprehensive test platform, the ECR flap 2/rev control amplitude and phase sweep are tested to find the control law of between flap 2/rev control amplitude and phase and the hub 2/rev vibration. The ECR active vibration control algorithm presented in the paper is programmed to run on the DSP by MATLAB/SIMULINK as to test validation. The hover experimental research on the vibration active control method proposed in this paper is carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method.
