The Electrically Controlled Rotor (ECR), or so-called Swashplateless Rotor, is a new concept rotor system. Compared to the conventional Rotor, the ECR had more advantages. In this dissertation, research works on the adaptive control of the ECR system in time domain were carried out, which mainly focused on the balde pitch control and the vibration control.(1) Based on the adaptive filter in active control of structual response, the adaptive control algorithm on the ECR system was designed. Since the secondary path had a bad effect to the control system, a noise signal was added to identify the second path on line. At last the improved adaptive control algorithm of the ECR system on time domain was carried out.(2) The simulation of the adaptive control arithmetic was conducted by MATLAB/SIMULINK. First the data from the experimentation were used by the least square estimate to get the mathematic model of the control system. The simulation results by SIMULINK verified the correctness and effectiveness of the control methods. Then the effects of some important parameter to the control system were studied.(3) Based on the RTW and SIMULINK,the adaptive control algorithm was fulfilled with TMS320 F2812 DSP. The SIMULINK models were converted to the C code for F2812 DSP using the RTW toolbox of MATLAB and the TI CCS. Then the code was optimized according to the practical situation, so the controller design was finished.(4) Experiments of the blade pitch control and vibration control were carried out in hover. The test results verified the correctness and effectiveness of the ECR adaptive control algorithm in time domain.
