| From aerospace products to cars, computers and household appliances, cable is a vital part of the electromechanical system, and the whole quality of the product is directly affected by its design and assembly. Cable modeling and assembly simulation in the virtual reality environment is an application of the virtual reality technology, and it can shorten the cycle, reduce costs and improve the assembly quality and efficiency compared with the traditional cable planning. In recent years, Virtual cable assembly technology is getting more and more attention, using virtual reality technology for cable assembly simulation and establishing evaluation model of the path of the wire harness to improve the quality and efficiency of the actual cable assembly has become the urgent problem needed to be solved.What were researched in this paper was pointed out as follows:1. This paper introduces the evaluation plan for the path of cable laying and the judgment criterion for the assembly of the wire harness. The key technology of the evaluation system of the cable harness is studied.2. Several common cable model simulation technology research, including the mass-spring cable model, the energy method cable model, the catenary theory cable model, B-spline curve model and the inverse kinematics cable model,and comparing and analyzing these methods.3. This paper introduces the related theory of the common use of the bounding box method in virtual interference detection. The interference detection of the cable and the cable, and the interference detection of the cable and the rigid body are studied.4. Mechanical connection is one of the important factors for the evaluation of wire harness laying. The stress analysis of the mechanical fixed part clip is studied by using the plane panel as an example.5. Import aircraft panels and wiring on the virtual assembly platform built by MFC and WTK, the evaluation system of the laying path of cable harness is set up, which can be used to detect the interference of the wiring harness. |
