With the continuous development of the era on industrial technology, the demands that the industrial technology and the people's livelihood for the electric power technology gradually improving, which including the rising demand and the enhancing of reliability for power supply. The primary task is to make a perfect combination for the theory and practice of electrical engineering design for the reasonable control of power. Furthermore, as an important part of the power system, the role of a substation is to transformation and distribution the electric power. It is the main influence factors of the operation for the whole electric power system, and also acting as an important middle segment to connect the users and the power plants. Therefore, the deeply research for the electric system design of a substation makes a meaningful sense for the good operation of electric power system.First of all, the development status of 110 k V Substation which contains the home and the abroad are fully studied in this paper. On this basis, the system design schemes of 110 k V Hongqi Substation at the city of Qitaihe is planned and selected, and then the access point of Xinmin Substation is be determined. This system design schemes has a series of advantages which has higher power supply reliability, lesser line loss and the conductor can keep in the economic operation state. After that the main transformers and the station transforms of 110 k V Hongqi Substation are selected according to the load forecasting results of coking industrial park of Qitaihe in this paper.Secondly, the primary system of 110 k V Hongqi Substation at the city of Qitaihe is designed and studied in this paper. The main wiring scheme of Honhqi Substation is confirmed by comparing and analyzing the different wiring schemes and with a view to the future of the development of coking industrial park. The wiring scheme of the line transformer group connection mode is adopted in the primary period at the side of 110 k V, and the internal bridge connection mode is adopted at the end stage. And the single busbar connection mode is adopted in the primary period at the side of 10 k V, the single busbar section connection mode is adopted at the end stage. The wiring scheme on the premise of meet the power supply reliability and flexibility, at the same time can achieve saving investment, power losses and cover an area of an area small. In addition, the short circuit of this substation system has carried on a detailed calculation and analysis, and then the type of primary devices of the substation is determined by this.Ultimately, Then the second system of Hongqi Substation is conducting a design and study, which on the basis of the first system's design scheme, including the control and protection system, and the power system, and so on. Thus the design of 110 k V substation systems is completed.
