Shear Wall Layout Of A Frame-shear Wall Structure Comprehensive Medical Building

With the development of economy,there are more and more high-rise buildings in the city center.The frame-shear wall structure has been widely used,and the form of layout is also more diversified.In frame-shear wall structure,lateral stiffness is mainly provided by the shear wall.Because the shear wall has heavy self weight and high stiffness,the unreasonable arrangement of the shear wall can lead to large deviation of the center of mass and the stiffness of the building,which will adversely affect the overall stability.Under the action of earthquake,it will produce the torsional failure.Especially in the frame-shear wall structure with irregular plane,the arrangement of the shear wall has more obvious influence on the torsion effect of the structure.The reasonable arrangement of the shear wall is not only the key but also the difficulty of the design.It often requires structural designers and architects and Party A repeatedly agreed,and it also need to meet the specification,the use of functional,economic and other aspects of indicators.In this dissertation,a comprehensive medical building has been used as an example.The height of the project is 46.2m,belonging to public buildings.This building plane is irregular L shape.The load of the building is heavy and nonuniform.The middle layer of the structure has partial opening.It is very easy to produce torsion under the action of earthquake.Three different shear wall layout model would be established with PMCAD,and be analyzed with finite element analysis software SATWE.The cycle ratio,the layer displacement ratio,the displacement angle,the shear weight ratio and other important design parameters of the three models have been compared.The economy of each model is analyzed.The reasonable arrangement of shear wall in the project can be obtained.The experience gained in the comparison would be summed up,which can provide a reference for the future similar projects.
