Temperature field is an important parameter affecting power cable ampacity,study temperature distribution of cables laying on a variety of ways and cables conducted under a variety of current,contribute to getting maximize cable ampacity,and at the same time,reducing resources input when laying.In the case of a relatively small study abroad,achieving optimal allocation between power quality and economy,and providing reliable data for the actual construction,providing technical support to field theory cable laying.This paper aims to study temperature distribution of the cable under the current temporary and steady-state effecting,the primary means to conduct cable experiments is the using of computer to build simulation platform.Physical experimental using sensors embedded in the inner part of the cable and the middle joint,and laying different kind of current on the cables to conduct,and experimental data is read by temperature acquisition system composed of AT89C2051 MCU and DS18B20 temperature sensor and computer.Computer simulation using ANSYS simulation software to build the experimental simulation platform.Comparing the simulation results with actual experimental data for the calculation of the correction,and ultimately get the data and conclusions of the temperature field and the cable ampacity.
