The high voltage switchgear is generally used in 10kV distribution network,playing the role to connect and break power equipment,invest or cut out the relay protection equipment or other equipment.Due to the manufacturing process,transportation,installation and operation of aging and other reasons,contacts may be abnormal heat,resulting in a decrease in the mechanical strength of equipment,insulation damage,oxidation deformation of busbar,shortening the life of equipment and other undesirable results,even leading to massive accident because of insulation breakdown.The terminal connector between switchgear and cable line is considered to be the weakest link.Therefore,it is essential to develop the temperature online monitoring system for the 10kV switchgear contacts and cable terminal connectors.Based on the structural characteristics and operating conditions of switchgear and cable terminal connector,a temperature online monitoring system is studied and developed by using wireless communication and infrared temperature measurement.Firstly,the principle of infrared temperature sensor,the selection basis and the means of communication are analyzed.Then,the hardware circuit of data acquisition terminal,ZigBee wireless communication and the sink node are designed and even PC software based on Lab VIEW is designed to process and display temperature data.In particular,for solving the powered difficulties of the temperature measurement termination node,an induction power is designed on the basis of electromagnetic induction principle.In order to improve the power supply,air gap is added to inhibited iron saturation,the rectifier feedback link is added to ensure energy balance between getting and using,lithium ion battery is added as backup to solve the problem of the dead zone with small current,and also the protection measure is added for the large current surge.The output power of the whole power supply can be 2.5 W.The cable core temperature can be used to determine working status of the cable terminal connector.A temperature field computational model is established from cable core temperature to cable skin temperature which can be measured.Three dimensional correlation curves about cable core temperature-skin temperature-cable ampacity under normal circumstances,simulated by ANSYS.In addition,an IEC calculation model is established to calculate ampacity of cable terminal connector,which can be used as a theoretical reference of dynamic increasing capacity of distribution network.Finally,the online temperature monitoring system including the whole set of hardware and software is tested.The results show that electromagnetic induction power supply can provide energy supply reliably,stably and adequately.The online temperature monitoring system can realize the visualization of monitoring information and reliable transmission of equipment condition data.The developed switchgear temperature online monitoring system is feasible and provides optional access for state maintenance of power equipment.
