The prevention and treatment of diabetes has become a problem after the rich life. Diabetes can lead to a decline in various tissues of the body, especially the kidneys, heart, blood vessels, and the nervous system, causing serious damage to the body. The growing prevalence of diabetes is troubling the society. At present, the amount of glucose in blood and urine is the only standard to diagnose diabetes, and it is also the standard to judge the state of the body in life.At present, the monitoring of blood glucose at any time as an important means of prevention and treatment of diabetes. But a few people will go to the hospital for medical examination regularly, most people are sick only after the discovery of physical problems, they had already delayed the best time to heal. In recent years, homeheld blood glucose meter has also been market promotion, each blood glucose meter function of all kinds of different shape, but the principle of work in general is consistent, while convenient, lightweight, standby time became the inevitable trend of the development of blood glucose meter.Although the design principle is the same, but because the choice of each blood glucose meter chip is different, testing speed and accuracy is different; each choice of blood glucose meter display different display ways, how to quickly and accurately measure the blood glucose concentration into the design of the foothold.According to the content of literature consulting, I design the MSP430F437 MCU TI design, MSP430F437 Series MCU has the well characteristics of low power consumption, high precision, and it can complete the detection of blood glucose concentration quickly, help users to monitor their own health status.And MSP430F437 series microcontroller man-machine interaction is good, large storage space, simple operationmethod. In the selection of the power chip, MAX856 has become the final choice, compared to other power chips, MAX856 has the advantages of low power consumption, high conversion rate, strengthen the blood glucose meter long standby time. In the selection of the display, with a small size, strong display function, low efficiency of ST7565 S has become my choice, ST7565 S to meet my blood glucose meter easy to carry, display all the mandatory requirements.The theme of health monitoring on my graduation design, with blood glucose monitoring as the starting point, to design a price close to the people, rapid measurement, accurate data of portable blood glucose meter,hope to have some reference value for the future development of blood glucose meter. The article is divided into five parts, with the background of development led by blood glucose meter, a brief overview of the evolution and development of human beings and the threat of diabetes on blood glucose meter; highlights the importance of the experimental design;introduces the design concept and hardware selection and software compilation; at the end of the development of the blood glucose monitor outlook.
