The prevalence of diabetes is high due to the fast pace of life,the change of diet structure,the overload of work,the shortage of exercise capacity and other factors.And diabetes is often accompanied by a lot of complications,which is seriously harm to health and cause significant loss of the national economy.So far people have not found a way to cure diabetes thoroughly,However hygiene awareness of the national have enhanced and attention to health is far more than the past,therefore long-term prevention and monitoring of diabetes is important.Reducing economic losses and increasing the sense of happiness are the starting point and significance of this paper.One of the main features of diabetes is chronic hyperglycemia,which is the only standard that can be used as a diagnostic criterion for diabetes.Based on these conclusions and purposes,the main content of this paper is to design a portable blood glucose meter,which is used to monitore blood glucose concentration.The blood glucose meter is based on the three-electrode system,the control chip is STM32F103VET6,and the embedded processor is Cortex-M3 of ARM.The blood glucose meter has the characteristics of low power consumption and moderate cost.It can accurately reflect the user's blood glucose level,which helps users tounderstand their blood glucose status,to play a reference role in the treatment plan.With the wireless WIFI module,blood glucose meter can be connected to the LAN,then send the data to users' mobile phones,so it is suitable fors home-use.
