Trucks are indispensable to people's daily life,and it is an important part of the development of the national economy.Power and economy is an important performance index of trucks,which directly affects the efficiency and cost of freight transport,and the matching of power transmission system directly affects the dynamic performance and economic efficiency.The development of vehicle power transmission system is basically matched with the main reduction ratio of the rear axle,and the selection of the engine and the gearbox has been selected in the market research and the initial stage project stage.The selection principle of the main reduction ratio of the rear axle is the lowest fuel consumption under the condition that fitting the national standard and the design requirement of the power and economy.In this paper,it uses a second-class chassis truck,truck and storage/stake truck as the research objects,matching a plurality of different main reduction ratio of the rear axle,using AVL-Cruise simulation,evaluating and selecting the best main reduction ratio of the rear axle.At the same time,we carry out the real car test for the a comprehensive evaluation and comparison.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Reading a lot of literature,analyzing the evaluation index of dynamic performance parameters,learning the fuel economy index control method of the United States,Europe and Japan,it analyzes domestic Ministry of C-WTVC cycle fuel consumption limits and the Ministry of transportation operating vehicle fuel consumption limits,in this paper makes the design evaluation index of truck's power and economy.2.Studying the design theoretical calculation of power transmission system in-depth,we studied the engine mathematical model,resistance theoretical model and power-economic parameters in detail.At the same time,we analyze the parameters which influence the result of the simulation based on AVL-Cruise software.3.By comparing with the data and charts of the AVL-Cruise simulation result of the three kinds of trucks,we chose the best main reduction ratio of the rear axle of the three trucks.4.We tested the trucks made up with the chosen main reduction ratio.Comparing testing results with the results of the AVL-Cruise simulation,we testified the simulation results and evaluated this paper's study comprehensively.The results show that the rear axle reduction ratio are the key parameters for the truck power transmission system,which directly affects the evaluation index of the dynamic performance and economic performance.At the same time,the AVL-Cruise simulation can provide a quick and accurate calculation for the matching of the power transmission system.
