The quantity of the production and marketing of automobile has been increasing by the developing of the national economy and automobile industry.Correspondingly,the oil resource has been drying up,and it's hard to protect the environment day by day,and which set the stricter standard for the fuel economy of the vehicle.it have been becoming an important research subject to improve the power and fuel economy performance of the vehicle for the medium-heavy commercial vehicle which is used as the means of transportation.As the most important performance of commercial truck,operation efficiency and fuel economy influence competitiveness.So,at the beginning of truck development,powertrain matching should base on optimizing the whole system to gain the best performance.For the operation efficiency and fuel economy of the medium-heavy commercial truck that powered by internal combustion engine,it depend on the matching of the powertrain of the vehicle.So,it have valuable meaning to improve the operation efficiency and fuel economy of the vehicle for researching on the matching optimization of the powertrain.This paper take the heavy commercial truck as research object,and set the power and fuel economy performance of the vehicle as the optimizing goal to setup the evaluation index.Based on the AVL-Cruise,it have built the simulation model for the vehicle to calculate and simulate the power and fuel economy,and also it have completed the optimization calculating for the configuration of the vehicle powertrain using the Design of Experiments(DOE)and got the optimum matching result.Finally,it have built the test sample according to the optimum configuration that came from the optimization calculating to verify the result of the simulating,and it have been proved that the optimized configuration can meet the goal of design.
