With the development of social economy in our country, the gradual integration of growing mega cities and regions, in the process of urbanization appeared more and more urban and suburban rail lines, the line length more than 50km, if the use of metro operation mode, one-way full travel time are in 1.5h above obviously cannot meet demand of peripheral area to the center of the city zone of travel time. Rail transport system and explore reasonable collocation, improvement and innovation of operation organization is very urgent and necessary.Chengdu new airport Metro is recombination line of City Express and Airport Line in Chengdu rail transit network. In the planning stage, project proposed in the District of Chengdu City to the new airport travel time control in 30 minutes, less than 40min, this line of operation organization design proposed higher requirements.In order to achieve the above target, this paper presents a comprehensive technical and economic analysis of the highest speed target of 120km/h and above, from the aspects of line condition adaptability, construction investment, train traction energy consumption, vehicle purchase cost and so on.In improving the vehicle with a top speed target value at the same time, still need to pass the station express the operation way and reduce direct train stop, so as to improve the direct train, the average travel speed, to meet the travel time planning requirements. Extended from the slow train of mixed running of system capacity, is stations are determined and wiring scheme was studied, in order to determine the feasibility of airport train and ordinary train run mixed mode of operation.In order to reflect the airport passenger traffic on the high speed, comfortable ride requirements, the airport line in the seat layout, service frequency, travel speed, ticket fares and other aspects are different from the ordinary subway. In this paper, we focus on the different service standards and the system configuration changes.In addition, due to the project intends to the target value of speed of 120km/ h was higher than that of the vehicle and train fast train run mixed mode of operation, with the salient features of the difference with ordinary subway lines. Therefore, in the configuration of the mechanical and electrical system, especially in the power supply, communication, signal, AFC, ventilation and air conditioning, system operation and scheduling command and other aspects need to do special design and consideration, to meet the operational objectives of the line to provide technical support.At present, in China, the related problems of rail transit train operation organization has conducted a lot of research work, but the actual operation of the project is less, the operation effect is not very ideal. Through to the Chengdu airport line engineering design and research, later in order to achieve good operating results, and serve as a model for domestic urban rail transit train operation organization.
