Study On The LNG Fuel Storage Technology Of VLCC

As global demand for oil is increasing,the international convention on emissions of increasingly stringent,to seek alternative sources of energy is imminent,and LNG fuel for its advantages such as clean,cheap and safe gradually favored by society.In recent years,LNG power ship related industry has developed rapidly,mainly small and medium-sized modification and construction of the vessel,for large oceangoing ships powered by LNG storage technology research and application of fuel is still in the blank,for unresolved key technologies,this paper made the following research work:First,this paper expounds the application background of LNG/diesel dual fuel engine,and then introduces the present situation of research and development of dual fuel engine,the contrast analysis on the technology source,structure,and the heat cycle of ME-GI and DFDE series of typical dual fuel engine.Secondly,this paper gives the optimization scheme of fuel filling time,according to the daily consumption of fuel tank,calculates the required volume,according to the optimal selection of 4000 m3 grade LNG tank,designs parameters of LNG tank,and calculates structure and strength,the results meet the requirements.The swash wall is designed in the tank,which increases the strength and safety factor of the tank.At the same time,this paper suggests that the layout of the LNG fuel tank of VLCC.Again,combining with the characteristics of LNG storage tank,this paper uses liquid level measurement method,proposes installation position and attention of the level gauge,and establishes the mathematical model of liquid level measurement to calculate the LNG storage tank volume.At the same time,this paper designs liquid level measurement software of LNG storage tank.Then,this paper introduces the BOG and its causes,puts forward the purpose of processing BOG,for LNG power ship docks in a short time,long anchor and mobile navigation,this paper proposes three processing solutions,such as boiler combustion,reliquefaction,combustion reuse.Finally,this paper comprehensively analyzes several feasible filling schemes of LNG,optimization choose is ship-to-ship filling,and analyzes docking way in the filling process,this paper introduces filling process of ship-to-ship in detail,and gives the reasonable suggestions of risk control in the filling process.
