Since 2001,macro-economic in china has already entered into a new round.The growth speed in amount of asset investment(FAI)that has a close relationship with construction industry is more than 15%The competitive power in china is weaker than the enterprises in overseas no matter in general or individual,no matter in technology management or other aspects of assetFirstly,the paper analyzes the research status of construction project progress management,points out the existent problem on the construction project progress management,and puts forward to the importance of strengthening construction project management.On the basis of that,the paper illustrates the significance of the research.This paper using a project as specific case,applying the project progress management method and proceeding from the reality,discusses deeply the progress management.First of all,the paper introduces theory and method of the project progress management,and then using these theory and method,we collect the information and data analyze the actual characteristics of project.Secondly,we decompose the project in process WBS,and collect and calculate the each of process.Meanwhile,we analyze the logic relationship on the each process.Lastly,combining all processes and the labor force and mechanical quantity required for whole project,we develop the network progress chart and optimize the project progress using the time limit for optimization method for the purpose of getting the best progress plan.During the implement of project,we use the control theory to control the project schedule,propose various control method and monitor and adjust the schedule.Finally in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project,we put forward several progress control measures.In this paper,a project has been an object of study in schedule management aspect.The aim of this research is that find out the most reasonable and rapid method of construction residential in schedule management aspect,and try to establish a universal mode so that apply to a construction project of fixed asset investment.
