Various of light source have different color temperature because of they have different spectral distribution,and light exposure due to the different color temperature so that objects in the people's eyes will also be different,which will influence the work of the visual.Today lightness is one of the important factors to evaluate the quality of tunnel lighting,and light color temperature on the visibility of the impact is often overlooked swap.This paper focuses on "lighting in the tunnel environment,quantitative analysis the color temperature of light source influence the visual work of the driver."The highway tunnel lighting levels are in the mesoptic vision and bright vision.Therefore,this paper was divided into two parts:low background brightness and high background brightness.After the introduction of visual formation process,this paper summed up driving visual reaction characteristics in the tunnel lighting environment.And the relationship between reaction time and traffic accident was discussed in detail.In order to ensure the safety of the tunnel,it was very important and necessary to use the reaction time as the parameter to evaluate the luminous efficiency of the light source.On the basis of correlative literature review in China and other countries,combined with the needs of studying on road lighting,we manufactured a "reaction times on road lighting measure system" by ourselves.Through the system simulates the tunnel lighting environment,this paper measured human eyes' reaction time to the target in different experimental conditions.By analyzing the experimental data,low background brightness and high background brightness were obtained under the function relation of the reaction time and the light source's color temperature,analyzed and summarized the changes in reaction time,the background brightness,visual target contrast and field angle.In contrast,light source's color temperature in low background brightness influenced on reaction time more significant than in high background brightness.Finally,this paper analyzed the relationship between the human visual luminance and light source's color temperature in mesoptic vision.In the certain background brightness,human visual luminance increases with the color temperature increasing,and the magnitude and speed of it will decrease with the increasing of color temperature;With the increase of background brightness,the color temperature has the same effect on the law of human visual luminance,but the degree of this influence is smaller.
