Industrial gearboxes,as basic components of the production lines of drive system,are widely used in cement,iron and steel,metallurgy,nonferrous metals,coal mine,port crane,chemical industry,paper machines,environmental protection,etc.Gearboxes are always customized and diversified with much difference of types,sizes,and interfaces and even more about load capacities in different levels,since the drive systems indifferent industries with different criteria and gears always manufactured according to enterprises level standards of gear suppliers.The new standardization of gear units are needed both suppliers and customers,since it could only be organized producing activities of customizations for business behaviors and situations between demands and supplies,even in European and American developed countries.It approached the target of standard and customized gear units with methodology of equal-intensity designing with two steps,firstly,to standardize load capacity with output torques meeting with motors already standardized;secondly,to standardize interface requirements with diversifying center distances.The equal-intensity design was simplified of multi-objective into one variant of ratios between the center distance of lower stage and it of next stage,in experience.The load capacity increase 20% on average,with those optimizing method,over the 3 stage helical gear units in the most popular high-end brand of gearboxes,via detail calculation test.Finally via smart configuration the 3 stage of 18 sizes helical gear units,these could cover all the standard gearboxes of main domestic and import brands in China with load capacity and interface diameter.
