The vortex generator is applied to various fields as a secondary flow heat exchanger.At present,the more familiar vortex generator has several types such as rectangular wing,delta wing,cylinder,beveled semi-cylinder and so on.However,in most studies,the study of penetrating vortex generators is relatively small,and the height of the vortex generators is higher relative to the experimental channels.Therefore,the low fin vortex generator is selected as the object of study.the MgO particles with particle size of 50 nm were selected as the fouling working medium,and the Fouling resistance is studied by on-line monitoring of fouling thermal resistance method.Firstly,the anti-fouling properties of low fin vortex generator are studied experimentally.The particle fouling characteristics of low fin vortex generator are studied by changing the height of the low vortex generators,the arrangement of the spacing and the arrangement of the front and rear were investigated.On the other hand,in order to improve the reliability of the analysis,two different experimental conditions were used for comparative analysis.The results show that low fin vortex generators with a smaller pressure loss as the price,in exchange for a better inhibition scale effect.The higher the vortex generators are,the better the inhibition scale effect is.Reducing the spacing of vortex generators can inhibit the deposition of fouling effectively.The low fin vortex generators are arranged in the second half of the rectangular channel,which has better inhibition of fouling.Secondly,in order to explore the particle fouling characteristics of low fin vortex generator under different experimental conditions,The experimental study was carried out from three aspects: inlet flow velocity,inlet temperature and nano magnesium oxide particle concentration.The results show that the higher the inlet flow velocity is,the lower the asymptotic value of the fouling thermal resistance curve is,the stronger the anti-fouling effect of the low fin vortex generator is;The higher the inlet temperature of the experimental section is,the lower the asymptotic value of the fouling thermal resistance curve is,the stronger the anti-fouling effect of the low fin vortex generator is;The larger the concentration of nano magnesium oxide particles in the experimental section is,the greater the asymptotic value of the fouling thermal resistance curve is,the weaker effect of anti-fouling effect of the low fin vortex generator is.
