Design And Implementation Of Flight Simulation System Of UAV Based On OGRE

The flight simulation system of UAV uses the virtual reality technology,it can reflect the statement of the UAV.by observing the flight simulation system,observer can judge whether the design of UAV is reasonable,and we also can avoid a false design of the system.with the help of the flight simulation system,the efficiency of UAV’s design has been improve.This paper design a flight simulation system of UAV based on the OGRE rendering engine,and uses VS2010+QT as the software development platform.Firstly,study the technologies and theories of visual system of 3D applied to flight simulation system of UAV.On this basis we analysis the requirement of the system,including functional requirement and performance requirement.Secondly,based on the functional requirement and performance requirement of flight simulation system,we can design each module of flight simulation system of UAV.Then we uses the scene management system and collision detection algorithm to display the flight statement of UAV on flying commission.Based on digital elevation model(DEM)and LOD technology,we implement the digital map module to show the latitude and longitude information of the UAV.with the technologies of QT and User Datagram Protocol(UDP)we build the parameter module to show the observer some key parameter of the UAV.Finally,according to testing method of software,we can verify whether the design of each module of the flight simulation system is correct and whether each module meet the functional requirements and performance requirement.The design of flight simulation system in this paper can show the flight process of UAV.According to the result of test,the flight simulation system has an entire function for flight simulation of UAV and good interactivity between user and the software.the design satisfies the requirement of UAV,and also provides a reference to similar software.
