Urban rail transit in China has entered a stage of high speed development.More and more cities consider Urban rail transit as the primary public transportation.As a special pattern of urban rail transit,Y-type urban rail transit can cover more area and match the demand of passengers better.Under the imbalance passenger demand,scientific and reasonable train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit can not only satisfy the transport capacity but also reduce company's operating cost.Compared with single urban rail transit,passengers in Y-type urban rail transit have preference on waiting and transferring,which makes the train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit more complex.Limited existing researches of Y-type urban rail have analysed passenger's choice behavior.This paper concentrates on train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit,the main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)This paper expounds train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit detailedly.The requirements for multi-routing in Y-type urban rail transit are analysed.This paper proposes that the train routing planning is a combination optimization problem between routing forms and train frequency.The influencing factors of train routing planning design of Y-type urban rail transit are concluded.This paper defines the function of route setting effects.(2)The passenger choice behavior characteristics of waiting and transferring are analysed.And the proportions of them are obtained by questionnaire survey.The influence of the passenger choice behavior characteristics to results of train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit is analysed.(3)Build the model of train routing planning design of Y-type urban rail transit which considers passenger's choice behavior characteristics.The effects of alternative routing set and the methods of alternative routing set design are analysed.To ensure the comprehensiveness of the model solution,this paper designs enumeration algorithm to build the model.(4)This paper develops train routing planning design system of Y-type urban rail transit.The system can be understood as four major functions:building corresponding Y-type urban rail transit for different cities,basic data input and alignment,train routing planning design and multi-index results output in order,which illustrates the significance of train routing planning design model and algorithm.(5)A case of train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit in city H is studied in this paper and the results of the optimal train routing planning are obtained.The optimal train routing plans of two-routing and three-routing are compared with the optimal train routing plan of independent subsection routing.The comparing results show that the optimal train routing plan gained by the designed model can not only match the transport capacity and imbalance passenger demand,but also reduce the company's operating cost under the proposition of passenger demand,which validates the effectiveness of train routing plan design model and algorithm.(6)This paper studies the influence of the proportion of nonstop train preference to the results of train routing planning of Y-type urban rail transit in city H with sensitivity analysis.Two conclusions are obtained:1)The variance of the proportion of nonstop train preference can cause the change of the results of train routing plan.2)With the increase of proportion of nonstop train preference,the passenger's cost of waiting is reduced and the passenger's cost of transferring are increased.The total cost for passengers is reduced.So it is proved that the considering of nonstop train preference for passengers can not only make the results of train routing planning more reasonable,but also effectively reduce the passenger's waiting cost and total cost,which illustrate that the effectiveness of train routing planning design model and algorithm of Y-type urban rail transit considered passenger's choice behavior characteristics.(7)This paper studies the influence of the proportion of weight coefficient in object function of Y-type urban rail transit in city H by sensitivity analysis.Two conclusions are obtained:1)With the increase of weight coefficient for enterprise running,the through capacity of Y-type urban rail transit decreases continuously,as well as the cost for enterprise running,and cost of passenger's travel increase continuously.2)Cross-line train routing can reduce the departure frequency,as well as the costs for enterprise running effectively when enterprise running is more focusing on train routing plan design of Y-type urban rail transit.
