Public transportation network adjustment and optimization is always the core problem of the theoretical study and practice of operation and management of transit planning.How to balance the relationship between the original network and adjustment network to take passenger's trip habit into account as much as possible is the way of avoiding the loss of passenger volume.This is the concerned problem of transit operational departments based on every actual project.Therefore,this paper conduct the study based on the practical problem.The main work and results are as follows:Firstly,to analyze and comment the status quo all over the world,pointed out the limitations of existing research.On the basis of the analysis of the basic theory of the model,focused on the analysis of whether the existing objective function of public transport network optimization can reflect scientifically and rationally the interests of passengers,enterprises and government.This paper chosen and constructed the objective function which reflected the interests of the ratio of the passengers with the ideal travel time and the actual travel time,reflected the interests of the enterprise with load factor,reflected the interests of the government with line network coverage,and the linear weighting method was used to transform the objective function of the above three aspects into the comprehensive objective function.On this basis,the objective function of optimize the net network which reflected the residents' travel habits with the degree of optimized public transportation network includes existing bus network was further constructed.At last,the model of the paper was built.The objective function which took into consideration of passengers,enterprises and government was treated as the first objective function,the objective function which considered residents' travel habits was treated as the second objective function.The two objective functions were processed by the hierarchical sequence method.The constraints of the model were non-linear coefficients,connectivity,transfer times and so on.Secondly,for the model constructed,the solution of the model was divided into three stages.The first stage:the optional bus line set was calculated by the shortest path algorithm,K-shortest path algorithm and single line constraint.The second stage:The genetic algorithm was used to combine the optional bus lines.The method of generating the initial population was improved.The first objective function was solved.The set of the optimal solution of the first objective function was obtained by repeating the solution of the first objective function based on different initial populations.The set of the optimal solution was taken as the collection of alternatives.The third stage:the collection of alternatives obtained from the previous stage as input,the second objective function value was calculated.Public transit networks with the consideration of residents' travel habits was chosen from the set of optimal solutions of the first objective function.Finally,Laizhou city was inferred as an example.Forecasted public transportation demand by TransCAD software.The model was solved by using the solving algorithm designed in the paper.In this process,the programming of the algorithm was implemented by MATLAB.The validity of generation method of the initial population was verified.The results show that the model of the model was scientific and rational.
