With the development of science and technology and the improvement of people's income level, the per capita vehicle ownership is also rapidly increasing, which brings great pressure to the city traffic. The urban road widening, planning a new road, set up an overhead bridge and other infrastructure construction, investment and urban planning, demolition and other issues, it is difficult to large-scale construction. In such a realistic situation, intelligent traffic control system has become a very important and feasible technical means to solve the problem of traffic congestion. Road traffic signal control machine, the flow of urban roads, improve road traffic efficiency, play a key role.Traffic signal machine can connect various acquisition devices, real-time access to road traffic data, according to the traffic data in real time to optimize the intersection traffic control. With the increase of traffic flow and traffic is more and more complex, the traditional traffic signal control machine in reliability and safety, reduce energy consumption and air pollution, reduce the construction quantity, more and more difficult to meet the needs of.The purpose of this paper is that, for the problems of the traditional machine of traffic signal control, through innovative research and development of a new generation of distributed traffic signal control machine based on ZigBee wireless communication module, and make up for the defects and shortcomings of the traditional signal, realize the upgrading and development of road traffic signal control machine.Based on wireless technology, the research of the independent distributed signal machine adopts a new architecture model, combined with a variety of innovative technologies, is a new generation of signal machine to adapt to the current and future traffic control development direction. Through the research of adaptive brightness signal conditioning technology, can be a different brightness control signal in different light conditions make the signal, one can improve the driver's comfort, to prevent glare or not clear, on the one hand, and can greatly reduce the signal power, more energy saving environmental protection.
