In recent years, distribution network automation related technology matures with the operation of the automatic system of distribution network?automatic sectionlizers and dividing line switch. The line fault accident section indicator, information after the distribution network switch protection and automation of feeder line effectively promote the assessment and rapid disposal of the fault.In this article, through analysis of operation status of rural power distribution lines in Dongchangfu district,combined the actual distribution of fault repair work and refer to the related literature, the distribution type of line fault, the reason of the problem, theory of distribution network protection and principle of distribution network automation system in this paper, for the principle of fault disposal?method and safety precautions has made the detailed analysis, and puts forward key suggestions to prevent relevant distribution circuit fault and effective measures, this can be guiding significance for distribution circuit if daily operation work.
