Power system dispatching department needs large number of network topology analysis, wide type, efficient and convenient management of the data of power system real-time monitoring, simulation and information management has important significance. The graphics technology is introduced into the power system in production management software can solve this problem well. To start a research project in order to solve this problem.Topics in the current graphics platform on the basis of the research status quo, in view of the existing problems of electric power production management system, aims to research and design of an open graphic platform, can be used in the electric power communication network in the network topology. This paper use Flash Builder 4 as RIA client development tool, through the Java language to realize electric power communication network network topology graphics platform subsystem design, using MXML and actionscript 3 language language based interface and graphic platform system platform to various operating systems of the browser, to provide users with powerful graphics and interactive function of the graphical interface, using powerful Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database to store the graphic data information, the client by the Asp.net Server and database communication. Graphic platform is developed under Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system, the operating system can be used at runtime to support multithreaded way of working of Microsoft WindowsNT/2000 /XP.
